Tell us your favourite bands and why. I'll start:

Hollywood Undead - AMAZING band in every way. They started on myspace and are now pretty big. They're awesome because they blend crunk with hardcore SO WELL. And their lyrics are hillarious too. And they're pretty good live as well.

Bring Me The Horizon- a staple band, every scene kid should know them. When I first listened to them, I was like WTF is this noise, but now I love them so much I listen to their music in class. (haven't been caught yet....) They are the BEST BAND I have ever seen live. Ever.

Mindless Self Indulgence- OK trivia time. The guy who designed the album art for 'IF' and directed the Shut Me Up music video is the creator of Invader Zim, Jhonen Vasquez! (my FAVOURITE comic book artist, all his work is SO cash, check it out) MSI are the only good electropunk band and are pretty damn awesome live.

Now for lesser known bands....

The Blackout- they're decent, they play a LOT of shows around England. Even though their music is mid tier, their shows are too awesome for words.

The Urgency- I have no idea why this band isn't really popular. There's something about their music which is just... deep. They are pretty inexperienced at shows though.

They're more emo than scene, but I absolutely love My Chemical Romance's older stuff (Black Parade was okay, but they're other albums are way better) and I adore Panic at the Disco. And thanks to my boyfriend, I love Avenged Sevenfold. One of my favorite bands ever is brokeNCYDE. Their lyrics are inventive and witty. Hollywood Undead is totally the shizz. Hands down. Christmas in Hollywood is my fav christmas song.

I got the Hollywood Undead cd Swan Songs at best buy for $10! I thought that was an amazing deal for such a great cd.

Well, I'm completely obsessed with Dir en grey (Japanese band). I've seen them live 6 times since 2006 and every time they come to Chicago my friends and I camp out for over 24 hours (at least). I think Die (one of the guitarists) thinks I'm stalking him. >.>
I'm also in love with 70's punk~ Iggy and the Stooges, Sex Pistols, Ramones, The Clash, The Damned, New York Dolls...etc. so amazing *o* So raw!
